How it works

V = IR; I = V/R; R = V/I; P = VI

For 12 V across 6 Ω, current is 2 A and power is 24 W.

FAQ

Can I use this for AC circuits?

It applies directly to DC resistive circuits. AC impedance and phase shift require additional treatment.

Which inputs do I need?

Use the panel matching your two known quantities: V and R, V and I, or I and R.

Why require positive values?

These panels use positive magnitudes and finite resistance. Zero-input cases can be indeterminate and are not modeled here.
