Review critical designs

Critical designs must be reviewed by a qualified engineer. Check the inputs, units, assumptions, equipment documentation, and applicable requirements before using a result in a design, installation, or operating decision.

Scope of the calculations

The formulas and constants are based on publicly available standards and textbook relationships. They may not apply to every situation. Simplified models cannot account for every material, operating condition, or equipment characteristic.

Responsibility for use

You are responsible for checking whether a result is suitable for your application. Fieldwork Tools and its maintainer accept no liability for losses or damage arising from the use of this site's results.
