Unit conversion

Flow Converter

Convert volumetric flow between m³/h, L/min, US GPM, and CFM using fixed volume factors, with a cubic-metres-per-hour to GPM example.

How it works

1 m³/h = 1/3600 m³/s; 1 L/min = 0.001/60 m³/s; 1 US GPM = 0.003785411784/60 m³/s; 1 CFM = 0.028316846592/60 m³/s

1 m³/h = 4.4029 US GPM (rounded).

Convert through the base unit: result = value × source factor / target factor. Factors above specify each unit in the base unit. Results are rounded only for display.

FAQ

Are the gallons US or Imperial?

GPM means US liquid gallons per minute here. One US liquid gallon is exactly 3.785411784 L.

Does this convert actual CFM to standard CFM?

No. This only changes volume and time units at the same conditions. Gas temperature and pressure corrections are separate.

Can I convert mass flow?

No. Converting volumetric flow to mass flow requires fluid density.
